YojanaBandhu lists government schemes and tells you who qualifies for them. You can read every page without giving us anything at all: there are no accounts, no sign-up and no login.
The answers you give the eligibility checker never reach us
«Schemes I qualify for» asks your age, your income, your category, whether you own land and whether you have a disability. None of it is ever sent anywhere. The questions are answered inside your browser, against a rules file this site serves, and your answers are stored only in that browser until you clear them.
This is not a promise about our intentions. On those pages the browser is instructed to permit no network request of any kind — so a script that tried to send an answer somewhere, ours or anyone else's, is stopped by the browser itself. Anybody can check that from outside by reading the page's Content-Security-Policy header.
We therefore hold no record of your age, income, category, gender, disability or land, and we could not produce one if we were asked to.
What we do collect
If you turn on notifications. Your browser invents an address for this purpose and gives us two keys that let us encrypt messages to it. We store that address, which kinds of scheme you asked to hear about, the language you were reading in, and the exact sentence you agreed to when you turned it on. That address identifies a browser, not a person: we never receive your name, your email or your phone number, because the browser does not give them to us and we never ask.
Nothing else. We run no analytics service, no advertising, no social widgets and no tracking pixels. This site loads no file from any other company's server — there are no web fonts and the icons are drawn in the page. Our server keeps ordinary access logs, which include the address your internet connection is using, for a short period so we can tell whether the site is working and stop abuse.
Why we collect it
The notification address exists for one purpose: to tell you when a new scheme is added that matches what you asked about. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell, rent or share it.
How to withdraw
Turn notifications off with the same button you turned them on with, on any page. That deletes the address from our records. You can also block notifications for this site in your browser, which stops them immediately and permanently.
To clear the answers you gave the eligibility checker, use the clear option on that page or clear this site's data in your browser. They are on your device, so that is the only place they can be deleted from — and the only place they ever were.

Where it is kept
Our servers are a private server in Germany, operated on our behalf by Contabo GmbH, reached through Cloudflare. That means information about your visit is processed outside India. We keep only what is described above.
Children
This site is aimed at adults deciding whether they qualify for a government scheme. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child. The eligibility checker asks an age, and that answer stays in the browser like every other.
Advertising
We show no advertising and load nothing from any advertising company. If that ever changes, this page will say so before the first advert appears and will name the network and describe the cookies it sets — you should not have to discover it from your browser.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will say so on this page. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the change; if you do not, turn notifications off and stop using the site.
