What is your relationship with the RPF/RPSF personnel?

Is this scholarship being availed by no more than two wards of the same RPF/RPSF personnel/family?

Your course and institute

Have you taken regular admission to the course?

Are you studying the course in India?

Is your course a regular/on-campus course rather than distance learning?

Is your course included in the professional/technical courses permitted under PMSS (Annexure-I)?

Is your course duly recognized by the applicable Government Regulatory Body (AICTE, MCI, UGC, NCTE etc.)?

Is your institute registered with AISHE and allocated an AISHE Code/Regulation?

Marks in the qualifying examination

Which of these describes your course, so we can say which qualifying examination applies?

Did you enter directly in the second year through lateral entry?

Did you secure at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade in the applicable Minimum Entry Qualification (MEQ)?

Fresh or renewal

Have you previously received PMSS for another course?

Are you applying for the first time for this course, or renewing?

Did you pass the current class/course stage in the same academic year?

Have you continued the course without discontinuing it?

Bank account and applying

Do you have a nationalized-bank account seeded with your Aadhaar number?

Being eligible does not mean being selected. For fresh applicants the final list is prepared according to the order of preference of categories and the percentage of MEQ marks, subject to the available quota.
The four relationship categories are also the order of preference for allotment.
