What this site is

A directory of government schemes, written in plain language from the departments' own published rules, with a link to the official page for each one. It is a guide to help you find and understand a scheme. It is not the scheme, and it is not the government.

What you may do with it

Read it, print it, and share links to it freely. Do not copy the pages wholesale onto another site — not because the words are precious, but because a stale copy of an eligibility rule is how somebody applies for something they do not qualify for.

What we ask of you

Do not attempt to break, overload or scrape this site at a rate that affects other readers. Everything here is meant to be read by people, and it is free.

We take care to describe each scheme correctly and we link to the official source so you can check. We cannot accept liability for a decision made on the strength of a page here rather than the department's own. Always confirm on the official link before you apply.
